Tobago Faceoff Lionfish Derby 2023

The TOBAGO FACEOFF LIONFISH DERBY takes place on 7th June 2023. Dive teams (SCUBA OR Free Diver categories) may embark on their hunt  any time after 12:01 AM, at pre-determined points around Tobago, however, their catch must be registered at the Castara Fishing Facility before 2:00 PM on that same day to qualify for prizes. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to teams that catch the largest number per team effort in both categories, also some special categories such as largest and smallest fish will be awarded. So plan your strategy well!

Please fill out this short form to indicate interest in entering a team for the TOBAGO LIONFISH FACEOFF Derby 2023. Only one team member (ideally the team’s liaison) needs to submit this form.

Please note that the REGISTRATION DEADLINE is 4:00 pm May 31st 2023!

Once you have understood the derby rules and regulations, you and your team mates may proceed to download, fill out and submit hard copies of the following forms and waivers at the front desk of the Department of Marine Resources and Fisheries (DMRF), THA, MILSHIV. (As far as possible, please submit all documents for your team in one package at the same time)
